Working with Arctura
Arctura works with organizations to design and put into practice the decision architecture needed to carry strategy into execution.
Begin with a strategic priority and where progress is becoming difficult. You may be exploring options on behalf of a leadership team or be responsible for delivering the priority yourself.
When a conversation may be useful
The strategic direction may be clear while questions about execution remain unresolved:
• Decisions repeatedly return to senior leaders because responsibility or authority is unclear.
• Functions pursue their own commitments while shared dependencies or competing demands remain unresolved.
• Reporting identifies changes or problems, but the decisions and coordinated action required remain unclear.
These situations provide a starting point for discussing whether Arctura’s approach is relevant.
What the work addresses
An engagement examines the decisions and coordination needed to carry a strategic priority into practice.
That includes who can make which decisions, when leadership needs to be involved, and how decisions affect work across functions. It also considers how results inform subsequent decisions and improvements to execution.
Arctura works with the organization to design an appropriate application of the Strategic Execution System and support putting it into practice. The scope is agreed for each engagement.
How your existing practices fit
The discussion starts with how your organization currently plans, makes decisions, and reviews progress. What is working, and where difficulties persist, informs whether SES would make a useful contribution.
Any proposed changes need to be considered alongside existing responsibilities and ways of working.
Participation and scope
An initial conversation can begin with the person evaluating options.
An engagement requires participation from the leaders accountable for the priority and the people responsible for carrying it out. Before work begins, we agree the scope, the participation required, and how progress will be assessed.
Start a conversation
Briefly describe the priority, where progress is becoming difficult, and what you have already tried. A general description is enough to begin; please leave out confidential information.
The first conversation helps establish whether further exploration is useful and who should be involved next.
